So, here’s the idea. All you have to do is roll and hop your way through each level in this Bounce Ball game. Well, that was a bit oversimplified. You actually have to roll, jump and even swim your way across all kinds of hazards while literally jumping through hoops! Some of the level features are there to help you, and some of them are determined to do the opposite. Just the tiniest poke from a bad guy, and your ball will instantly pop! Plenty of Pointy Problems
We’re not going to sugar coat it for you. You’re rolling into a pretty dangerous area. There are spinning saw blades, giant battle axes, and all kinds of poky pillars just waiting for you to come by so they can take you out. All you can do is jump and roll, so you will need to have perfect timing and accuracy to get around all of these troublemakers. Most of the enemies are either stationary or traveling in a fixed path, so you can at least study them before you try to move past.
A Harsh Environment
Even without all the enemies, the designers made sure that the levels are really tricky and unforgiving as well. Sometimes, you have to blindly drop off the bottom of the screen just to move to the next area, not knowing if it will cost you a life or not! Besides that, you will be rolling and hopping your way through a lot of tricky turns, jumps, drops and tight squeezes. You just might get lost a time or two, but that’s okay. If you’re lucky enough, you just might get pointed in the right direction.
Lots of Hoops to Jump Through
Each level contains a certain number of golden hoops that you literally have to jump through in order to make it to the next level. This requires a perfect jump, because most of these hoops are barely big enough to fit around you. Sometimes, they’re even too small, so you will have to find a pump to suction some air out of you. On the other hand, you will also need to grow bigger so that you can float in water and do other important stuff, so pumps are important for both situations.
