Best Juicy Couture Perfume

Viva La Juicy Gold Couture EDP

Viva La Juicy Gold Couture is a new rendition of the Viva La Juicy perfume available back in 2008. Released back in 2014, and is a decadent, glamorous version of the original. This golden blend is luscious, and begins with wild berries and remains that way till it reaches the heart. Then, you have notes of honeysuckle, jasmine and roll off into a warm aroma of golden amber, sandalwood, vanilla elixir, and caramel.

This lively classic feel extends to the packaging that is golden, with hot pink colours and logos. Viva La Juicy Gold Couture comes in the 50, 50, 100 ml bottles.

Price: $69.00

Pros

  • a lively
  • bold
  • brilliant mix of florals and fruity accords
  • heavy notes improve longevity

Cons

  • complicated scent,
  • sweet nature is designed for younger women

Verdict

It’s easy for perfumers to get carried away when describing what their perfume smells like! But yes, this definitely has that sexy, powerful sex-bomb a=factor to it. Mid 2000’s but not dated. In simple words, it has that caramelized pineapple to it, gourmand, yummy and decadent as well. On the other hand, you need to really love caramel in order to wear something like this all day, and if you’re not into powerful gourmands, this might feel a bit punchy, sweet, strong and synthetic to you.So it’s not for everyone, that’s for sure.

The best time and occasions would be an extravagant outing, date night at the club or winter, with just a few sprays. We liked the sillage only when it was smelled up close. And it was creamy, with some white flowers and sweet and has better interior notes. Is it a bad perfume? No. Has it been overhyped? Yes!

I Love Juicy Couture Perfume For Women EDP

This is the ‘makeover’ version of the original ‘I Am Juicy Couture’ launched back in 2015. The profile is supposed to be feminine, confident and a little on the mischievous side. So the fragrance has been designed to appeal to the playful, sensual personality and spirit. It’s been brought alive by a cheerful, zesty mandarin accord and ends on mysterious patchouli.

Opening notes are floral-fruity in nature and is filled with taffy apple, fresh mandarin, and red currant. The florals comprise of jasmine, tiger lily, pink honeysuckle, and jasmine petals. The patchouli is enhanced by musk and amber.

Price: $47.99

Pros

  • typical floral-fruity composition
  • vibrant and flowery top notes
  • mysterious amber-musk dry down

Cons

  • heavy composition not meant for everyone
  • can be a bit too cloying
  • poor longevity

Verdict

The initial spray is overwhelming, with this patchouli burst. It’s only a few minutes later that it begins to reveal a tart mandarin, musky aroma. The dry down is a fresh move away from the heavy florals, but this is when the amber, honeysuckle is evident. The pineapple is missing though, but it’s still this kind of EDP you’d reserve for dancing at the club!

It reminds us of Golden Goddess from Baby Phat; clearly a sexy-honey patchouli blend. One good thing about this is that has weak longevity and is a skin scent. Its better suited to someone wanting a light, sweet, floral fruits composition or for the younger crowd.

Juicy Couture Hollywood Royal EDT Spray

Juicy Couture launched this Hollywood Royal Limited Edition in 2015 and is supposed to be an amped-up version of the original. So, given the nature of the brand and all the scents they’ve released so far, this fragrance is creamy, youthful with that unmistakable floral-fruits fragrance character of the Juicy Couture brand.

The composition starts out on notes of candied apple, pomelo, pear that reaches a heart filled with creamy white petals and calms down to a base of cashmere wood, marshmallow, vanilla, and soft musk. The bottle has this metal star accent on it and comes in the 75 ml and 150 ml bottles.

Price: $47.99

Pros

  • mild take on the sweet perfumes,
  • more sweetness than florals and fruity accords

Cons

  • low sillage
  • an average longevity

Verdict

We think that what’s written doesn’t really begin to convey what this scent is like. On the first spray, it’s nice, has good longevity but appears to be more of a seasonal fragrance. After dry down, it is barely noticeable on the skin and in some ways that good otherwise this scent would be too strong for regular use.

If you like marshmallows or lots of marshmallows, then add Hollywood Royal to your list of must-have perfumes.Hollywood Royal is a good break from the candy apple scent and is more of a dry, woody apple that is long-lasting, clean and fresh – and it’s playful, pretty and immature. The main notes are the candy apple, marshmallow while the vanilla, gardenia adds life to the scent.A good, pretty option for those days when you don’t know what to wear.

I Am Juicy Couture EDT Spray

The I Am Juicy Couture EDT is cut out for the girl that’s rebellious, unapologetic and independent. This one has got a floral-fruity composition as well; with pomelo, passion fruit and raspberry. So, it is meant to be loud, strong and pungent, with ingredients that add to this nature of the scent. At the heart, you have heliotrope, gardenia, rose de mal and sweet pea and this rests on a base made out of amber, warm woods, and musk. The bottle is available as 30ml, 50ml, and 100ml variants.

Price: $55.00

Pros

  • big, bold scent profile
  • wonderfully composed

Cons

  • moderate lasting power and sillage

Verdict

This is definitely not one of those sugary, sweet fragrances but more of an amber, overripe fruit kind of sweet, more like a plum type of vibe to it. So, it’s a move away from the uber-feminine scents that one can expect from Juicy Couture, and can be worn by younger and older people alike.

When we first sprayed this on for reviewing it, we got accords of what smelled like cranberry – that’s probably the raspberry. After spraying it a few more times and letting it settle on our skin, we found that it was of a white chocolate and cranberry mix, even though there aren’t any chocolate notes.

Many people did talk about how it doesn’t last even though they sprayed it several times. We think that this type of sweetness is strong enough for the entire day, and so longevity must depend on the situation, weather ad how it plays on your skin.

Juicy or not, we think that there’s a Juicy Couture out there for everyone. Affordable and a recognized brand, make sure to get one for your dressing table today.

Viva La Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum Spray, 0.5 Ounce
A great fruity/floral perfume from Juicy Couture. This is also a sweet gourmand type of fragrance that has a sugary confectionery vibe to it. Viva La Juicy opens up with a citrus mandarin orange top note to go along with that familiar creamy aroma of vanilla and delicious caramel.

It opens with that sweet, upbeat, and girly vibe. However, Viva La Juicy starts to dry down and the floral notes begin to emerge, namely jasmine and honeysuckle. It is much softer and less sweet, once you reach the base of the fragrance, where you’ll get a smooth sandalwood and musk to bolster the composition.

This one starts out rather strong, but will quickly turn into a perfume with essentially moderate sillage. The longevity is good, though, it doesn’t have some crazy 10+ hours of wear. Viva La Juicy is best used as an everyday wear for the colder months of the year. It really shines in the bitter days of winter, but absolutely can melt in summer.

Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum Spray, 3.4 fl. oz.
Juicy Couture’s namesake fragrance is a celebration of white floral notes, with lily and tuberose. The opening is where you’ll get the blast of crisp fruit notes. There’s watermelon and apple, this gets paired with vanilla and caramel. However, these notes get quickly pushed into the background in favor of the floral dominance.

Tuberose is the main attraction, with lily slightly less noticeable, but still totally there. The aroma is creamy and slightly sugary with vanilla and caramel in supporting roles. Juicy Couture can be somewhat brash at the beginning but it settles down somewhat later. It’s important to note that, the white florals aren’t the usual old-lady flowers in many other floral-centric perfumes. The sweeter notes that surround it help to temper that tendency.

This EDP is a solid choice for someone who wants a modern smelling white floral perfume with good longevity and strength. It’s fresh and conjures up thoughts of a spring day.

Juicy Couture Viva La Fleur Eau de Toilette Spray, 5 fl. oz.
A dynamic and flirty fragrance with notes such as mandarin, berries, caramel, and vanilla. It isn’t overpowering, however, La Fleur is a soft and warm perfume. It starts out with those same sort of fruity notes that you find in the original Viva La Juicy, but there are red berries in this one, that are quite strong. However, after that initial run, Viva La Fleur takes on its own identity by shifting more into a floral fragrance.

Gardenia is the strongest of the floral notes and is paired with jasmine and honeysuckle. It is quite clean and has an upbeat personality. La Fleur isn’t an overpowering perfume and can be worn daily and is safe enough to be worn on many different occasions. It does have a more youthful scent, but it isn’t a ‘teeny-bopper’, scent by any means. Though, someone that age could indeed wear it.

Juicy Couture Couture Eau de Parfum Spray, 3.4 fl. oz.
Another sweet scent though this one is much darker and quite rich, but still a floral. Notes include: orange, grapefruit, honeysuckle, plum, vanilla, sandalwood, and jasmine. The plum note along with the citrus ingredients really do the job of setting Coture apart from the rest of the Juicy perfumes on the list.

The citrus seems to be most present at the start and the plum is the fruit note that sticks around the most. Vanilla and amber flank the floral notes to give it a creamy warmth. Jasmine takes the lead and has its own little blending experience with the plum note and that great honeysuckle found in these Juicy Coture fragrances is floating around in air.

Couture is skews a tad older than the others, but it doesn’t feel outdated by any means. It’s layered and has complexity, with a solid performance. It’s a nice change of pace, while sticking to the brand’s character.
